Hail Strikes
A strike knocks the granules off the shingle and bruises the mat underneath. We circle each one in chalk.
Wind Damage
Shingles and ridge caps blown off in a wind storm. Evident when you find shingles in your yard.
Leaks
A stain on the ceiling after a week of rain. Tell us what you are seeing when you call.
When We Look From a Ladder
On most roofs, Jake walks the roof. A steep two story roof is different.
If the house is two story and the roof is steeper than a 9/12 pitch, meaning it rises 9 inches for every 12 across, Jake does not walk it. We lean a ladder up there and look from the edge.
Most of the time that is all it takes. On a roof that is only a few years old, a look from the edge tells us whether there is any damage.
Either way, you get a straight answer. If the roof is fine, that is what we tell you.

Is the Roof Inspection Really Free?
Yes. There is no charge to come out and no charge to look. Jake comes out, looks at the roof, and tells you what he finds. If the roof is fine, that is what we tell you. If it needs work, you get a written number, and there is no money to start.
Will You Walk a Steep Roof?

What If the Roof Is Fine?
Then that is what we tell you, and you owe nothing. Jake looks, tells you what he found, and leaves. One customer called about a leak and found out her roof was still under warranty, so she did not need us at all. Call us again after the next storm.
