We had a roof leak during all the rain a few weeks ago. My husband remembered Ruddy’s Roofing ads from talk radio, so he called them. It was Thursday night, late…and they responded to his call, answered live and proceeded to advise us on what to do. He asked if we were still under warranty. We were, so we didn’t need their services after all. He could have just started the job! They followed up, to make sure we were taken care of, and offered to come look at the roof and make sure the repair was on the up and up. He reassured me that everything was good, and refused to take a fee for the consultation. He asked that in lieu of that, would I donate to WC Animal Shelter, and remember him if we ever need roofing services! I’m am going to donate in the name of Ruddy’s Roofing, and I will remember him, even though I pray I do not require his services!
I would highly recommend Rudy’s Roofing! They came out very quickly after we had a windstorm to assess our roof. After looking everything over, they let us know that we only needed four shingles replaced.
I really appreciated their honesty. It would have been very easy for someone to tell us we needed much more work—or even try to convince us that we needed a new roof—but they were honest about exactly what needed to be done. Their pricing was also very reasonable.
They provided before-and-after pictures, had great communication throughout the process, and completed the repair within a day of the initial inspection. It was such a relief to find a roofing company that was responsive, reasonably priced, and trustworthy.
We will definitely use Rudy’s Roofing again and highly recommend them!
Ruddy’s Roofing is fantastic! I thought I had a potential water leak, so I gave them a call. They came out quickly, identified the issue within minutes, and had it fixed in no time. It turned out to be lint buildup in one of my vents, which was preventing the vent flap from closing properly. They cleaned it out, and the problem was completely resolved.

After the 2020 hail storm in Georgetown, we hired Ruddy's Roofing to replace our asphalt shingle roof after seeing the quality of the job they did on our neighbor's house. Ruddy and his son Jake are a family business and clearly care about the quality of their work. They and their crew did a first-rate job on the house and out-buildings. Before the work started, they worked with us to understand the insurance process. They were patient with us as we contracted to have other repairs and painting done on the house prior to starting the roof repairs. Ruddy was very responsive on email and phone to our various queries. The day the shingles were delivered from the supplier, Jake arrived early to coordinate the process. On the day the work was done, Jake was on site the entire day ensuring the job site was kept clean and organized and was able to answer the many questions we had. The crew that Ruddy's works with did a fantastic job, including dealing with the odd-ball construction on our small observatory building. The crew was very professional and detail oriented. After the work was completed, Ruddy and Jake thoroughly cleaned the site and rollered for nails. We were very pleased with both the work completed and how pleasant the process was. We highly recommend Ruddy's roofing.
Update 2023 - After another hail storm this year, we once again had Ruddy's replace the shingles on our roof. The insurance adjuster complimented the quality of Ruddy's previous work. This year, once again, they did an awesome job, were very conscientious about covering the landscaping, and left the place spotless after the job was completed. I still recommend this company without reservation.
Ruddy’s replaced our roof earlier today. They upgraded pretty much everything. They are VERY thorough and attentive to detail. We have a lot of plants and other decorative things around the front and back porches that they got out of harms way and put back when they were done. The quality of work was excellent at a really fair price. A special thanks to the walking boss, Jake for being so helpful and attentive. We highly recommend this company.

Ruddy's Roofing has now replaced our roof twice within the past four years, both times due to hail damage. When the insurance adjuster came to review the roof for damage after the second hailstorm, he commented on how well the roof had held up since it was installed. On both replacements, Ruddy's crew was outstanding. They left the driveway and patio cleaner than they were on arrival. On the second replacement, the work actually got done early because we had a chance of bad weather on the originally scheduled date. The new shingles look great, and the whole process was almost stress-free.
Frank and his son did a great job reroofing my house after the recent hail storm. This was a first experience for me and Frank explained everything clearly and went out of his way to answer questions concerning the insurance process, which is a bit confusing. Ruddy's put a new roof on my fathers house in 2017. Great work and they were kind enough to give some guidance on the rebate process for veterans that was offered at the time. The roof is still holding up well after all the storms the last several years. Now, after some storms in spring of 2023, we reached out to our insurance company about the roof on the garage apartment. Fortunately they contacted Ruddy's. They were very responsive, friendly and informative. I would recommend them to a friend, family and anyone looking after their elders homes.
I had an exceptionable experience with Ruddy and his son Jake. I had several different companies take a look at our roof, and both Ruddy and Jake both spent the time and effort to explain everything they were seeing, and provided me with options - not a hard sell. After some debate we did decide to do a whole roof replacement, as opposed to a smaller repair. They were extremely communicative throughout the entire process, and I always knew what the plan was, when they would be there, anything special that I needed to know, etc. Everyone involved was very professional and courteous, and they knocked the job out in a day with results that look great. I would highly recommend this father / son company to anyone looking for roofing needs.
THE BUCK STOPS HERE! Had a flue pipe leak caused by poor workmanship from original roofer. I called Ruddy late on a Friday and he texted me right away. Heavy rain was expected the following Monday so I wanted to get this fixed quickly. Ruddy came out himself outside business hours to fix the issue. He’s personable and easy to communicate with. -Very practical and reasonable. He identified some potential future issues in the process and said I had a few years before those would need attention. Did not try to up-sale me or take advantage of my need for a quick fix. -Can’t thank him enough. I will be using him in the future & will recommend him to all my friends.

Ruddy and his son Jake are experienced roofers and they are a local business. Ruddy did a great job explaining to us in detail the roof replacement and answered all our questions. Ruddy's Roofing is a one of a kind roofing company. This is a father and son company. Jake is the son, he came to fix my roof in 2019 and explained everything with photos so I could understand without going on a two story roof. He is so respectful and caring. This Kiddo is following in his father's footsteps and I admire that. As for his father Ruddy who I spoke to over the phone to schedule and to let him know what a great son and company he has raised and built has the same morals. He is very kind. I just purchased a new home with damage and I will not call anyone else but Ruddy's. If you are looking for honest, quality and fair pricing work give these guys a shot. THEY ARE GREAT!!!
I found out I needed a new roof when I changed Homeowner's Insurance companies, and my agent highly recommended Ruddy's Roofing, saying he was honest and dependable. I called them and Ruddy and his son came out the next day and gave me a thorough explanation about what was needed and what it would cost. I scheduled them to come out two weeks later and they were here on time and did an excellent job. One of the things I noted was how happy his crew seemed to be. When I see happy employees I feel like they have a good boss which says a lot to me. The clean-up afterwards was excellent as well!
I called Ruddy to schedule an inspection after the winter storm and Ruddy said he would be able to come out in about 2 hours. Ruddy communicated prior to arrival and arrived early (something many companies can't seem to do these days). I showed the areas of concern and Ruddy and Jake carefully examined and repaired the area promptly. They are very personable, dependable, and friendly. Ruddy’s Roofing just completed a chimney removal and patched up the resulting hole in our roof. If I had to sum up the entire experience in one word, it would have to be “Wow”! From beginning to end, this was one of the best and most pleasant experiences we’ve had throughout our remodel. We primarily dealt with Jake, who is the owner’s son. Jake is incredibly courteous and responded to all our inquiries and requests in a quick fashion. We initially obtained three different quotes, however, the deciding factor for choosing Ruddy’s Roofing over the others was their impeccable customer service and responsiveness (aside from their raving online reviews and competitive pricing). They scheduled us quickly, showed up on time, completed the project swiftly and left our property clean without any evidence that work had been done. How on earth they were able to match the 10+ year old shingles on our roof is beyond me. You can’t even tell we had a pre-existing chimney structure. Jake and his crew chief also went above and beyond by removing all of the chimney structure inside our attic, which saved my husband and me a lot of work! If you’re looking for top-notch customer service, outstanding workmanship, and reasonable pricing- look no further! Ruddy’s Roofing is the place to go!
Ruddy’s Roofing replaced our entire roof in March 2019. My wife and I were very happy with the way the whole project went, and are pleased with our new roof. Working directly with the owner of the company is rare these days, but it sure did make for better communication and scheduling throughout the process.
Ruddy and his son Jake were very thorough in examining our large shingle roof, which is complex and has several different slopes, and Ruddy determined exactly what was required to make the roof water-tight. His bid was very reasonable, and he didn’t push any unnecessary options. We didn’t pay him until the job was finished, and he didn’t add any extra charges to the original price.
A large crew showed up early in the morning on the appointed day. They worked fast but did a first-class job. My hat’s off to them for their professional work. The installation quality is easy to see when we look at our new roof.
Ruddy and/or Jake were there for the whole job, supervising and keeping things cleaned up. If you’ve ever had a roof replaced, you know how much of a mess it can make. Ruddy’s worked hard to minimize the mess. Before the work started, they laid down tarps around the perimeter of our house and protected the AC compressor from falling debris. During the job, they picked up loose pieces of shingles that had missed the tarps and ran magnets around the yard to pick up loose nails.
To sum up: Ruddy’s Roofing is easy to work with, reasonable in cost, and does great work. We recommend them highly.
After researching different roofing contractors, I chose Ruddy's because they had a great number of 5-star recommendations on many different web sites, and I was VERY pleased with the entire experience. Ruddy and his son Jake came to my house and told me what they were going to do and exactly how they were going to do it. I have a large roof, but his crew was large and knocked it out in one day, and either Ruddy and/or Jake were on site the entire time. They also spent a great deal of time cleaning up after the job was completed. Ruddy worked easily with my insurance company and communication before, during and after the job was always excellent. I HIGHLY recommend Ruddy's! You will be VERY please with the job that they will do for you!
Ruddy's Roofing replaced my roof in May 2019. I am very pleased with the results. Frank inspects the roof and gives you an honest assessment without padding or an endless sales pitch. When the insurance claims adjuster arrives, Frank is your advocate. His work crew is the best. Fast professional work completed in the same day. Ruddy and his son Jake were honest, timely and professional in installing a roof for us on a home we own in Pflugerville. As we live out of town, all discussions/decisions were done over the phone which can be tricky but were not at all in dealing with Ruddy's Roofing. Ruddy & Jake were very responsive to all our questions (& we had a lot!) & sent updates as the roof was being installed. Overall an excellent experience.
